Things i'm feeling at the moment.........
LOVE this mohawk by designer Henriette Lofstrom of BLOW Presents.....The Grace Jones-esque picture makes a stand out piece even stronger.
Her other gorgeous piece of jewellery is the Halo headpiece featured in Jessie J's new video....
I worked with Jessie for her KOKO Pop performance in Camden a few months ago, when she was still in the slightly overwhelmed by her fans adoration stage. (See video below) She was another lovely star, who was really down to earth....and sounded AMAZING live, plus she is from the ends so she obviously got love from me! <3 <3

London sees red... Pierre Garroudi fashion flash mob
On 21st April 2011, the streets of London were painted red by haute couture designer Pierre Garroudi. In the first of its kind, Pierre was showcasing his 'Red' collection using London as his catwalk. Dressed to perfection, with elaborate headpieces and barely there origami dresses, the fashion procession made their way from his London Bridge studio to Trafalgar Square, via Green Park, with many bemused commuters and excited tourists taking in the amazing spectacle along the way.
Working the looks to the max, the girls pouted, posed and strutted through the streets as urban dancers bust a groove alongside them.
A moment of pure sartorial joy, it was a sight to behold and a much needed reminder that fashion should be fun and spontaneous. I loved it!

A couple of interesting characters......
One of the things I love about London, are the many different types of people that call this their home and make our streets interesting.
I've always been a 'people watcher' and often find inspiration in others. Now I've taken to carrying my little camera around with me, I am able to capture some of these moments and share it with you :)
Loosely basing her style on Lolita Gothic, a trend made famous by Japanese street style, the look is all in the detail. Note the shoes, with the little buckle around the heel. A visual treat on a Monday morning!
Another Londoner who caught my eye was this lady......
Loving her sixties inspired dress matched with the white socks. Very cute look, clean and simple. The red really makes the look pop, a fine example of what I like to call 'contemporary' vintage. Real vintage classics never date.

Fantasticsmag - The Lady in Red
Everyone loves a fairytale and a happy ending.......except I like mine with a twist. With the upcoming release of Red, it got me thinking about what my adaption of the classic fairytale would be.....and in my story she is a grown woman seeking revenge for the death of her grandmother. Featuring fierce couture pieces from London based designer Pierre Garroudi,Red was ready to kick some wolf butt!
Armed with a brilliant creative team and trudging through the woods of Slough, I was able to realise the story that was in my mind's eye. Here are a couple of teaser pictures for you.....

I heart Guillemots..... Baskets video and photo shoot
Recently I had the pleasure of assisting Johnny Blueeyes in the styling of indie band, Guillemots, for the first single 'Baskets' from their forthcoming third album 'Walk the River'.
As Johnny was away on a well deserved sabbatical in India for 5 weeks, he passed the styling baton to me in his absence, (an honor I was very pleased to receive) and I was given the task of overseeing the final looks for both the shoot day and video. Here are a few pics from the shoot.....
It was an amazing learning experience for me and I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the musicians.
A very talented band, I am sure that the new album will be very well received and highly successful.....and my boyfriend was very jealous - RESULT!

Belle Amie - A memorable affair
Recently I had the pleasure of styling the gorgeous ladies from Belle Amie, from last years X Factor. I received a call from their PR agent who was looking for a creative stylist to help create a new look for the girls, who are planning on moving in a new direction after the departure of fourth band member Geneva Lane. With an illusive brief and a limited time limit, the whirlwind two day Belle Amie experience was definitely a memorable affair. The girls were lovely to work with and really open to new ideas which was a treat. No diva attitudes in sight! I had an absolute blast with them. Watch out for their upcoming music releases because they are on a mission to change public opinion on them and I know they will win you over as much as they managed to with me....Team Belle Amie!!
House of Blueeyes - GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS
A celebration of all the different beautiful forms that a woman is wrapped in. GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS was a night where the extraordinary came out to play, in support of the House of Blueeyes designers, creatives and performers, who were launching the collectives’ brand new website and first pop up boutique selling editioned collectable wearable art t-shirts and knitted genitalia stuffed with fragrant lavender. With bottom spanking, pole dancers of both the male and female variety and a special performance from the one and only Johnny Blueeyes, a good night was definitely had by all.....
Johnny Blueeyes and Illamasqua.....
In the last year, I have started working as an assistant for the amazingly talented Johnny Blueeyes (who I happened to meet outside Starbucks in Shepherds Bush, after noticing his gold Jeremy Scott trainers and introducing myself!)
Through him I have had the pleasure of meeting some a-mazing people, including going to the Illamasqua Beak street store launch party where I met the lovely Dame Vivienne Westwood and her husband as well as seeing THE most gorgeous make up I have ever seen .......
